Jessica has had the opportunity to work with communities across Canada on a range of projects including economic development, workforce development, and various market research. She proficiently utilizes qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to bring creative solutions to clients.
Jessica developed a sound understanding of the needs of the North while working with the Timmins Economic Development Corporation. While with the TEDC, Jessica assisted in foreign direct investment efforts and conducted various research projects on topics such as forestry and cold-weather testing. She also had the privilege of assisting entrepreneurs throughout Northeastern Ontario in business start-up and expansion.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Applied Economics from Queen’s University and has earned her Ec.D (Economic Developer) designation through EDAC in partnership with University of Waterloo. With a passion for community development, Jessica has volunteered with various international outreach projects geared toward local community development that have brought her to destinations around the world.
