Are you looking for an entry level postion as a Business Consultant?

 

Commerce Management Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is ideal for recent university or college graduates who have completed a post-secondary degree or diploma program within the last three years.

 

In this role, you will work alongside experienced professionals to support a variety of consulting projects across multiple industries and markets. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business consulting while contributing to key initiatives that drive client success. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand Client Needs: Collaborate with senior consultants to assess and understand the client's objectives, business challenges, and project requirements.

  • Project Development: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing key project initiatives, ensuring alignment with client goals and business needs.

  • Data Collection & Research: Conduct market research, interviews, and surveys to gather valuable data and insights, helping to inform project decisions and recommend effective solutions.

  • Consulting Recommendations: Contribute to the development of recommendations, proposals, and solutions tailored to address client challenges and add value.

  • Communication & Reporting: Support effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders across various channels. Assist in preparing and maintaining clear project reports and progress updates.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the consulting team to ensure the successful delivery of project milestones, ensuring timelines, quality, and client expectations are met.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to evaluate business challenges and propose solutions

  • Excellent research, data collection, and market analysis skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally within the business consulting field​

  • The successful candidate is University or college graduate who has graduated within the last three years from an accredited college or university. The candidate must be a graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program. The position will be a first full-time employment in the candidate’s field of study. Mature graduates may be considered.

Commerce Management Group is seeking knowledgeable professionals to undertake projects on a contract basis and in a variety of industries and markets. 

These individuals must have the capacity to work remotely and should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Critical thinker and problem solving skills

  • Exceptional research, analysis and presentation skills

  • Capable of analysing situations and recommending suitable solutions

  • Effective business proposal writing skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Time management skills

Reporting to the Principal, the Sub-Contractor will provide consulting services on assigned projects where requirements and deliverables include the following:

  • Understand the project and the client’s needs.

  • Project development through planning, organization, and execution of key initiatives (Project Methodology).

  • Data collection, market research and interviews / surveys to gain an understanding of the client’s business and to determine potential solutions.

  • Provide consulting recommendations, proposals, and options to solve our customer's challenges.

  • Effective communication across all mediums including interviews.

  • Maintain and/or develop project reporting
