Robert Manseau, Senior Economic Development Consultant & Principal
Robert has been providing consulting services to businesses, industries, communities and all levels of government in Ontario since 1989. Robert is bilingual and has a sharp business sense, a strong dedication to critical financial and market analysis, and is a firm believer in the value of a comprehensive project plan with realistic achievable goals. Robert has also authored macro/micro economic impact analyses for the communities across Northeastern Ontario.
Kraymr Grenke, Senior Business Consultant
Born and raised in Timmins, Kraymr has a great understanding of the needs of the north and is looking forward to contributing to a growing region that he calls home. Professionally Kraymr joined CMG in Fall 2019 after serving time in both the public and private sectors. Kraymr served as the Economic Development Officer for the Wabun Tribal council which represents five First Nation Communities in northeastern Ontario. Prior to his public sector experience, Kraymr was an accountant for one of Canada’s top 10 Public Accounting Firms, Baker Tilly SNT LLP. Through his professional experiences, Kraymr has worked on regional economic development work for First Nation communities. Lead multi-million dollar construction projects, including building projections and co-generation projects.
Kraymr has a deep community and governance connection outside of his professional career. In the community, Kraymr has the honour of serving as the Vice-Chair of the Timmins and District Hospital Board, a Commissioner for the Timmins Police Services Board, Board Member for the Timmins Economic Development Corporation, Timmins Chamber of Commerce Board, City of Timmins Committee of Adjustments, Spruce Needles Golf Club Board, and Laurentian University Audit Committee and Strategic Planning Steering Committee. Previously, Kraymr was a member of the Laurentian University Board of Governors and Academic Senate.
Murray Morello, Senior Associate
Murray has spent most of his career working under both Federal and Provincial Governments prior to joining Commerce Management Group. Murray is extremely knowledgeable of government economic development programs and has an extensive network to assist in developing customized solutions to the many challenges faced by Northern Ontario to grow and diversify the economy. Murray completed his post-secondary studies in Economics at McMaster University.
Allen Reid, Senior Associate
Allan joined Commerce Management Group in October 2017 shortly after retiring from Ontario Power Generation. Born and raised in Northern Ontario, Allan Reid holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Athabasca University, a Bachelor of Science degree from Laurentian University and a Diploma in Electronic Engineering Technology from Northern College.
Allan spent over 35 years working in the Electrical Power Generation Business. His experience includes working from the ground up in Ontario Hydro and Ontario Power Generation serving in many positions. His experiences encompass Project Management, Asset and Technical Services, Vice President Operations in Central Operations and Niagara Operations and Chief Operating Officer for the Renewable generation and Power Marketing division of Ontario Power Generation. Through these positions, Allan has developed a strong understanding of Ontario’s energy sector and the intricacies of the province’s power and energy generations.As a member of Commerce Management Group’s dynamic team, Allan contributes by providing insight to project operations and acts as project lead on all energy and power generation related projects. Mr. Reid operates out of and resides in North Bay, Ontario.
Evan Lennon, Business Consultant
Evan joined Commerce Management Group in 2015, bringing with him a strong theoretical background combined with hands-on experience in management practices and economics. Evan has extensive knowledge of government funding programs to support new businesses and has proven himself as a highly capable governmental and financial market researcher. Evan has been instrumental in helping numerous enterprises understand the economic realities surrounding their businesses and accessing pertinent statistical information required to make accurate and timely decisions. Evan resides in Northern Ontario after completing his Honours Degree in Commerce from the University of Ottawa.
Matthieu Quirion, Research Consultant
Matthieu brings a strong multi-disciplinary theoretical background acquired throughout his post-secondary education in engineering, project management and accounting. The hands-on experience gained through multiple construction jobs gives him a unique perspective of project management as he truly understands the entire process from planning, budgeting and execution. Matthieu studied in accounting at the University of Ottawa’s Honors Bachelor of Commerce program and holds a college diploma in accounting from Algonquin College. Throughout his education, he researched, analyzed and developed financial information which has refined his business sense and ability to forecast financial models to determine viability for a project. Prior to joining Commerce Management Group’s dynamic consultant team in 2018, Matthieu worked in the field of public accounting in Northern Ontario which exposed him to multiple businesses and a strong connection to the north.
Jennifer Booth, Chief Financial Officer
Jennifer is a Chartered Professional Accountant and innovation champion bringing over 25 years of experience providing financial governance across diverse industries in Northern Ontario including mining, science and museum, not for profit and green energy. Jennifer is recognized for her talents in strategy development and corporate vision. Jennifer has unique skills related to the conversion of strategic plans into tactical reality by establishing viable direction and interpretation with the development of balanced scorecard reporting. Jennifer is fluently bilingual with demonstrated strong project management, analytical, risk control, problem-solving and communication skills as a result of her community involvement and professional experience.
